HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS

Use a soft dressmaker's measuring tape.  If you haven't got a measuring tape, use a piece of ribbon and a ruler.

Keep the tape as straight as possible and parallel to the floor.

If using a piece of ribbon, measure it using a flat ruler.

 

BUST - measure the fullest part around your back and bust, at nipple-height

WAIST - measure the narrowest part of your waist, this will be below your rib cage and above your navel.  You can find it by bending to one side, where your torso creases is where your waist is

HIPS - measure the widest part of your body at your hips
